videos We use state-of-the-art, broadcast-quality equipment to produce promotional films that are always something more than they need to be.We love the whole process of making films, and take pride in what we produce, guaranteeing that what you get is something that will always stick out from the crowd, and show people what is special about you. The Technical Bit: We film on Canon XL1s (and Panasonic MX300 for on-the-fly footage), which is broadcast quality (indeed, Steven Soderbergh of Ocean's Eleven fame has used the self-same cameras to make feature films). We edit digitally, ensuring that there is no loss in quality, and can offer a full suite of Post-production effects and processes to ensure your video is of comparable visual quality to a commercial DVD, unlike those who offer such services and use consumer-level equipment that leads to an understandably lower-quality end product. For those who wish to know, we use Apple Final Cut and Adobe Premier to edit, with Combustion and After Effects to run post-production, along with Silicon Graphics hardware for some more exotic processing. What the Technical Bit means: We’ve got some really swish equipment which we like to play with. We also don’t cost the earth. Being a small, driven company, we will do what we can do make you a film you will be proud of to a budget you can afford. Given the many variables in making promotional films, we quote individually for every job we get, so if you’d like to know more, please contact us for a quote.
School videos We are currently offering a ten-minute promotional film, including pre-production meetings, scripting, three weeks’ worth of two-camera filming, and a weeks’ worth of editing, with the end product supplied on DVD Master. All of this costs just £6,000(ex. VAT). We can offer 1000 DVDs, fully printed in cases to match your branding in with the package for £7,500(ex. VAT) inclusive. We also have experience of filming special, one-off events from concerts and plays through to sports and speech days. If you’d like us to preserve one of these, please contact us in advance and we shall see what we can do (as a rough guide, we can usually do these events for hundreds rather than thousands of pounds). We are also starting to offer graduation videos and films of final year productions for Drama and Performing Arts Schools - Schools simply take orders in advance from students, we film the production, interview the student and edit a student-specific DVD for each pupil to use in their portfolio. Thanks for your time, and don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions. |
