Why 3D imaging?

Light is important. Actually, light is a hugely important element of the structure of any building, and also one of the most elusive. Affected by the materials used, the time of day, and even the positioning of objects within, it is both difficult to represent and describe. 3D imaging can help?

A creative mental leap is needed every time we visualise something. This visualisation, this jump, is vital in fostering belief in and support for a project. The better a person can visualise something, the more confidence they have in it. 3D imaging can help!

Experimentation is an important part of the design process: experimentation with materials, structure and lighting. However, the impact of this experimentation is often hard to convey or, indeed, understand. 3D imaging can help.

So what can we do?
Recent developments in 3D technology mean that those effects which have previously only been available to the most expensive of studios can now add their power to your designs. Show people what makes your designs really effective?

And how much does it all cost? We think you'll be pleasantly surprised!

  • £600 for an exterior elevation of a structure.
  • £2,000 for 4 exterior elevations
  • £4,000 for 10 exterior elevations
  • £150 one-off fee for the modelling of real-life surroundings
  • £1,000 for interior and exterior modelling and one elevation
  • £3,000 for 4 elevations of interior or exterior
  • £6,000 for 10 elevations of interior of exterior.
  • £5-10,000 for an animated fly-through of structure (dependent on size of structure, and length of animation)

For those of you who are not Architects, we can provide full 3D Modelling and animation for creative projects, which are subject to billing on a time-based rate of £250 per day.
